All the encryption happens right on your device using Web Crypto, meaning only you can ever access your information. If you happen to forget your master password, your data remains inaccessible, as the encryption key never leaves your browser. We use a robust process: your password is first hashed a million times with PBKDF2, and that hash then acts as the master key to encrypt your one-time password details using AES-CBC. Both these steps are fortified with random SHA-256 salts. We also secure your sign-in process.
