PlayXylo brings the authentic sound of a real xylophone right to your fingertips. It's designed to be a joy to use, whether you're a child exploring music for the first time or an adult looking for a moment of creative calm. You can start playing your favorite tunes immediately – there's no waiting around. Interacting with the xylophone is intuitive. On a touchscreen, you simply tap the keys. If you're on a computer, you can use your keyboard's number keys or click directly on the colorful keys. You can even slide your finger across the board for smooth glissandos, or play multiple notes at once with two or more fingers or controls. The crisp sound, characteristic of a xylophone's lack of resonance, is captured faithfully through recordings of an actual instrument. We've made PlayXylo adaptable to your needs. By default, you'll see a vibrant rainbow color scheme, and there's even a Boomwhacker version that aligns with that popular color set. For younger learners, the Solfege mode replaces standard note names with Do, Re, Mi, helping with music reading and singing. If you prefer a fuller range, the chromatic scale gives you access to all the sharps and flats. Not sure where to begin? You can find it easily within the app's menu. 🎶 This is the web version of PlayXylo. You open it in your browser and can install it to your home screen with a single tap. Once installed, it opens in its own window, no address bar or tabs in sight, and works offline after its initial load. It's the same great PlayXylo experience, with background auto-updates and a tiny footprint, all accessible through one simple web address for any device.
